Rozel Socks

Part of a collection of sock and mitt patterns ‘Round Britain on your hands and feet’, Rozel is named from the lovely little village on the north east coast of Jersey in the Channel Isles. It combines simple colour work with a basic fingering yarn to produce a versatile sock that has the look of a chunky hiking sock around the ankle with the wearability of a fingering weight foot to slip into regular shoes. Its also a great ‘stash buster’ using up the yarn usually leftover from knitting a pair of socks. It is available to purchase from my Ravelry Store.Rozel Socks

  1. Are these toe up or top down, and is the colourwork slipstitch? May I suggest a few more details both here and on the Ravelry page 🙂

  2. Thank you for the comment – the main colour is slipped & the contrast colour worked on two out of the four row pattern & a jogless stripe technique is worked to ensure that there is a smooth transition between rows. Does this make sense?
